A Restaurant Camera Caught What My Son-In-Law Did Before The Hair Pull-quetran123

The security monitor threw blue light across Michael’s face.

His hand stayed above Matthew’s birthday cake, fingers curled, frosting smeared on one knuckle. The little dinosaur topper had fallen sideways into the chocolate icing. Not the hair pull. Not yet.

The camera had caught what happened seven minutes before dessert.

Michael’s left hand disappeared beneath the table. Emily’s shoulders jerked. His thumb pressed into the exact yellow ring around her wrist. He smiled at Robert while he did it.

Robert pushed his chair back. The legs barked against the floor.

‘You people are making a scene over family discipline.’

Emily flinched at the word discipline. Matthew’s dinosaur slipped from his hand and landed on the carpet without a sound.

That did it.

Denise turned her body slightly, putting herself between Matthew and Robert.

‘Your check is closed,’ she said. ‘You are no longer guests in this restaurant.’

Robert blinked at her. Men like him expect uniforms to bow.

‘Do you know who I am?’

Denise looked at the spilled wine, Emily’s wrist, my open folder, then the monitor.
